Kelsey retains Scottish title
28 July 2010
NAIRN Dunbar's Kelsey MacDonald has defended the Scottish under-21 title for the second time in a row.

The 19-year-old completed her hat-trick with a fine third round two-under par scorecard of 70 at Dunfermline for a comfortable winning margin of four strokes over Megan Briggs (Kilmacolm).

Another win would equal the record set by Suzanne Cadden in the 1970s.

Meanwhile, Scottish Ladies Golf Association handed veteran Tain siblings Anne Ryan and Mary Smith full Scottish call-ups to an international team of six to play in the European Senior Ladies Team Championship at Sporting Club Berlin from September 1st to 4th. Hannah McCook (Abernethy) has received her first call into the under-18 girls' team for the home international matches at Bangor Golf Club, Northern Ireland from August 4th to 6th.

Late entries are being accepted for the Eriskay Senior Open at Torvean on Thursday on 01463 225651.
